The Travel Industry Exhibition Sydney
The Travel Industry Exhibition is a trade-only event that connects buyers and suppliers of travel services and products and provides a key forum to shape the future of the industry through networking and education.
Supporting partners include AFTA Travel Accreditation Scheme (ATAS), the Travel Daily Group and The Travel Industry Mentor Experience (TIME).
Exhibiting travel suppliers are provided with the ultimate stage to showcase their products and services to the travel community, increase brand exposure and engage and network with new clients. Promotional opportunities available.
Industry professionals are invited to see, discuss and compare the latest destinations, accommodation, air services, cruising, tours, travel technology and more, in an environment where they can meet key suppliers face to face.
The Travel Industry Exhibition takes place in Melbourne on Monday 11th to Tuesday 12th July 2016 at Peninsula, Docklands. The Travel Industry Exhibition in Sydneykicks off one week after at Luna Park, Sydney on Monday 18th to Tuesday 19th July 2016.
The trade only event is open to travel industry professionals only and is free to attend.

Rick Myatt
Director of AFTA Education and Training,
Rick Myatt has been the Director of AFTA Education and Training, the education satellite of the Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) for over 10 years.
Rick came to “Travel” from a high street fashion retail industry background, having started his career at Bloomingdale’s in New York, after completing a post graduate degree at MIT Massachusetts, USA.
He has served on many boards and in senior management capacities in USA, UK, Japan and Australia in travel retail, airports, tourism and education sectors before joining AFTA Education and Training.
In his current role, Rick oversees the quality aspect of accredited qualifications into the travel industry and he represents AFTA E&T on a number of boards, consultative working groups, industry advisory committees, providing advice on travel industry knowledge, skills needs, workforce & careers development and training matters.
Rick also advises to a large network of travel & tourism enterprises on workforce development issues.
Rick holds degrees in ICT, Marketing and Law.
Nicola Caygill MSc TEDManaging Director at micro-cruising.com.au
Nicola is the Managing Director of Micro-Cruising whose tagline is ‘small ships great trips.’ Micro-Cruising wholesales to the travel trade, selling worldwide trips on ships of around 100 passengers or fewer with over 600 vessels worldwide in its portfolio.
Nicola has been involved in tourism since 1998. Nicola’s more recent roles have been Business Development Manager Australia and New Zealand for Quark Expeditions and Orion Expeditions.
Her academic experience has seen her achieve a MSc Tourism: Environment and Development – Oxford Brookes University, UK and a BA of Tourism Management: Marketing – The University of Canberra.
